The Double Starter Calf Hutch combines two Starter units on a raised base, which can be fitted with legs or wheels to maximise efficiency. Designed to make life easier for the farmer, this system allows for personalised management of newborn calves. Easy access to the calf, easy handling and easy cleaning are just some of the many built-in features and options available, designed for the well-being of both the calf and the operator.
The Double Starter Calf Hutch is an integral part of the Calf-Tel program, a complete solution for housing calves from birth through weaning.

Adjustable ventilation
Adequate airflow is essential for calf health. Our adjustable ventilation system creates the ideal microclimate for animal well-being.
Quick lifting
Sturdy rear hinges allow Starter units to be easily lifted, making it easy to clean the enclosures, floor and base.
Optional cover and heat lamp
A partial or full cover can be added to the top of the unit. This allows for outdoor use and helps keep the calf warm. A heat lamp can also be installed to turn the unit into a heated environment.
Floor and base
The steel base, compatible with the installation of legs or wheels, raises the Starter units off the ground, improving insulation and hygiene. The Calf-Tel plastic floor provides a stable and durable surface for the calf. The open design promotes optimal ventilation and allows for drainage of waste.
