When singly reared calves are introduced into large groups, the stress of competition and social pressure can cause declines in growth and health. The best way to facilitate this transition is to group 4 to 6 weaned calves of similar size together in an Outdoor Calf Group Pen. This encourages the formation of a small social group, reducing stress and ensuring continuity in growth and well-being.
