GROUP HOUSING - 54|98 MULTIMAX
GROUP HOUSING
Gradual transition to group environment
When singly raised calves are placed in large groups, the stress of competition and social pressure can cause declines in growth and health. The best way to facilitate this transition is to group four to six weaned calves of similar size together in an outdoor calf pen. This encourages the formation of a small social group, reducing stress and ensuring continued growth and well-being.
